The NCAA championship game between the Villanova Wildcats and the North Carolina Tar Heels in Houston had millions of fans watching their bracket picks. Some watched the closely-matched teams play point for point on TV screens around the country. And thousands more flooded Houston to experience March Madness in person.
As much as we love basketball, we couldn’t help but notice each and every fan-favorite hairstyle that scored some media attention during the final game of the tournament.
Big blue frizzed wigs, long-haired rocker-style blue-and-white locks, and even a blue-and-white, bald-headed Spiderman look-a-like showed up to cheer on the Tar Heels. And Villanova fans didn’t disappoint with V-shaved fanfare, blue mustaches, and plenty of blue and white hair dye.
Crazy stuff, right?
Even if you didn’t pay close attention to the NCAA basketball tournament, or track your bracket picks, events like this are a great reminder that you can do a lot with your hairstyle.
It doesn’t have to be dyeing your hair a crazy color, shaving a message on short-cropped hair, or wearing a wig that says something about your personality. But simple changes like a more stylish cut with clean lines, a neat beard or goatee trim, a little coloring to hide your grays, or even hair restoration to treat baldness, can have a big impact on how you look and feel.
